Are In-Person Conferences Dead?

Are we ever going to go back to in-person conferences?

5 Reminders When Treating Chronic Pain

Pelvic PT Rising: The pelvic health tools to make you a better clinician and/or a more successful business owner. We want every single pelvic health practitioner to be more confident and successful in your practice and career!

  • Clinical Courses: Game-changing online courses to make you more confident, challenge your thinking and improve patient outcomes

  • Business Resources: Helping 500+ pelvic health practitioners confidently start, grow and build their dream business!

We've been thinking a lot about this! There's something different and important about all being in the same room together.

But we're going to have to rethink conferences. Make them more practical. More targeted. More community-focused.

We thought about all the conferences we've been to and what made some of them special and some of them 'blah.' Some that you couldn't wait to go into work and some that left you feeling tired.

The four things we think make an amazing conference?

  1. Community: Being together, meeting our mentors and colleagues, is so important. It's the whole reason for coming together in-person! And we need to be more committed to planned, deliberate time to be a community together.

  2. Amazing Speakers: The right speaker can change the course of a career. Having a lineup of true experts in the field is vital.

  3. Practical Applications: Great speakers help us make practical connections. Ideas that actually change the way we practice. That sometimes change the direction of our careers!

  4. Inspiration: A great conference leaves you excited to get back to work the next Monday. To change. To make a bigger impact. To help our entire profession rise.

But we want to hear from you - what makes a great conference?

As Nicole said on the full 'sode of the topic...
